This autumn, I am inspired by all things circus and carnival. The clowns. The performers. The food. The freaks. My art and photography series this year, which usually revolves around horror films in the form of fan art, pulls inspiration from all the things that make the circus fun and/or creepy, and a little bit from Pennywise and AHS Freak Show. I stumbled across this carousel at the Mall of America of all places. It had some pretty spectacular horses on it, and I was early enough in the day to have gotten a few photos of it before it started operating.
