When this couple gets married and spends their honeymoon on a romantic tropical island, they stumble across a bag full of money and diamonds. They decide to keep the bag and it’s contents. They think they cover their tracks until they get home and discover the cops are investigating the documentary that the protagonist happens to be making. Boundaries are pushed. Trust is broken. Bullets are shot. All for a cool two million in cash and diamonds.
If thrillers are you kind of book, the I suggest you get a copy of ‘Something in the Water’ and give it a read. This was my first foray into the world of Catherine Steadman’s novels. I’ll be reading more of them after how impressed I was with this one.
