White Lion Drawing

I’ve spent some time extra time in my art studio as of late designing and writing a few projects. In between those projects, I’ve snuck in some colored pencil drawings to add to my Etsy store. I was inspired by some new Strathmore paper I found at Blick Art Materials. They always have interesting pads of colored paper when I stop in.

A couple weeks back I was watching some nature shows on one of my friend’s cable channels (I’m cheap and don’t pay for cable) and there was a majestic white lion on the show. This big cat sat serenely as the wind blew threw it’s mane. And then a drawing was born.
