Star Wars has been a large part of my life. Leia Organa went through a few changes over the course of the films. Princess. Rebel. Jabba’s slave. General. Han’s wife. Kylo Ren’s mom. Through it all, she was a survivor.
One of the most requested costumes I get when people ask for drawings is her outfit from Return of the Jedi. While her role as Jabba’s slave was never my favorite, it does give a glimpse of what she was willing to put herself through to save Han and how much faith she had in Luke to rescue them if her plan failed.
