Had the pleasure of getting an advance copy of The Levitation Game, and it did not disappoint.
The story follows Esme and Joseph, two young adults who reconnect after many years. They each have magical powers that grow stronger in the others presence.
Juxtaposed with that storyline is that of Bob-Dec and Sula, two beings traveling through space on their way back to Earth. They are connected to beings on Earth who are doing research on human activity and life on Earth.
Joseph and Esme are drawn to Guatemala where both storylines converge. It is a great ending to a story that is full of adventure and magic. There’s a bit of a love story too. The characters are vibrant and the locations vivid through the author’s descriptive writing.
This is a great novel by Sharon Wagner and I look forward to seeing what other stories she has up her sleeve.
