Coconut Octopus, Acrylic & Indian Ink

I have been experimenting with acrylic paints and ink washes on canvas boards. The first layers are acrylic paints. Then I add a opaque layer of black Indian Ink and let it dry for an hour. When I rinse it off, I get this effect. This painting is part of my sea life series.
